Instructions for presenters

Due to a record number of submissions, abstracts were assigned to different formats:

  • Long Oral: 6–7 min presentation + 3–4 min Q&A
  • Short Oral: 4–5 min presentation + 3–4 min Q&A
  • Oral Poster: 3 min (single slide) + 2 min Q&A
  • Digital Poster: single non-animated slide displayed MON or TUE during breaks (attendance optional)

Time limits will be strictly enforced. Exceeding speaking time may reduce or eliminate Q&A. Rehearsal is strongly encouraged.

Presentation Guidelines

  • Slide 1: title, presenter (co-authors optional)
  • Slide 2: day, session name, time slot, conflicts of interest
  • Max. 1–2 slides per minute of speaking time
  • No general introduction on CDH
  • Start with background and study aim
  • Focus on methods, results, and key message
  • Format: PowerPoint (PC), 16:9 ; no presenter's view guaranteed
  • Personal laptops are not allowed
  • No Mac hardware/software available 

Digital Posters

  • Single, non-animated slide
  • Minimum font size: 24 pt (larger preferred)
  • Must be readable from 2–3 meters
  • Displayed on ≥43-inch screens (~95 cm × 53 cm)

Please help us ! Give your presentation a name that helps technicians as follows

"DAY_TIME_SESSIONTYPE_SESSIONNUMBER_LASTNAME.pptx"

Example: for Dr Le Duc presenting on Monday at 8:30 in the plenary session, this would be:
"MON_0830_Plen_1_LeDuc.pptx"

Presenters will be mailed with date time, session type and number. You can check the program from 26/3/2026 onwards for the current schedule.
