By plane from Brussels Airport - BRU

  • Train: the railway station is in the basement of the airport, at level -1 (under the arrivals hall). Take a direct train to Leuven (usually departs every 15 minutes). Journey time is roughly 15–20 minutes.
  • From Leuven Station you can take bus lines that serve UZ Leuven, campus Gasthuisberg. The bus ride typically takes 15–25 minutes depending on route and traffic.  
  • Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport; drive time to Gasthuisberg is typically 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. 



By car - Building 'Onderwijs en Navorsing 2' (ON2) - Herestraat 49 - 3000 Leuven

  • There is a kiss + ride zone next to the building. 
  • Follow the arrows 'Parking Onderwijs en Navorsing*' to access the car park. It is closed by a barrier - code for entering and leaving: 24777#

By public transport from Brussels Central Station

  • Take a train form Brussels Central Station to Leuven. Trains run frequently, typically every 10-20 minutes. Journey time is roughly 25 minutes. 
  • From Leuven Station you can take bus lines that serve UZ Leuven, campus Gasthuisberg. The faculty is located at Campus Gasthuisberg, near University Hospitals Leuven (UZ Leuven). Leuven railway station is about 4 km away. You can take a bus there every 15 minutes. Bus lines 43 or R90 stops right in front of building 'Onderwijs en Navorsing 2' (ON2)* at bus stop Leuven Gasthuisberg Campus. Towards the city centre, take bus 43.
